The Paternayan Yarn 1/8 lb Hank is half of the quarter-pound skein, cut at either end. Like the knot, these are cut strands, approximately 30" long. Cut strands are handy for needlepoint, but not servicable for knitting. Each hank contains about 86 yards (87 meters).
